چکیده
Asphaltene deposition in the pore-throats of reservoir rock reduces permeability, which leads to a reduction oil production. The amount deposited asphaltene is generally expressed by an equation that sums three types deposition: surface deposition, pore-throat plugging, and entrainment asphaltene. plugging accelerated increase asphaltene, termed snow-ball effect. Wang Civan's model commonly used calculate permeability rock. includes several adjustable parameters define rates each type. In term for calculating effect coefficient defined as parameter well. validity verified comparing measurement results core experiments with calculated model. However, since there are many parameters, it difficult confirm consistency between interpreted behavior obtained from flooding tests actual behavior. particular, although pore-morphology alteration can be important factor development pore-scale investigation still limited. this study, was investigated through microfluidic deeply understand A mixture crude n-Heptane injected into micromodel conduct real-time monitoring deposition. area occupancy asphaltenes type image analysis. addition, streamlines velocity profile fluid were computed using computational dynamics software. An Investigation on the Effects of Charged Polyacrylamide Injection on Asphaltene Deposition in Porous Media
This study has been investigated, the effects of three different polar polyacrylamides (anionic, cationic, and nonionic) on asphaltene deposition in porous media. All experiments were carried out in various dead oil flow rates (0.2, 0.1 and 0.02 cc/min) and different polymer concentrations (500, 2500, 4000 ppm). The results indicated that asphaltene precipitation was affected by the presence of...
متن کاملExperimental Investigation on Asphaltene Deposition in Porous Media During Miscible Gas Injection
In this work the likelihood of asphaltene deposition problems during dynamic displacement of oil by natural gas in unconsolidated porous media is experimentally inspected. The two different rock materials, limestone and sandstone, are used as a representative of porous media. Dynamic flow experiments indicate that the increase of natural gas injection inc...
